SSD is a barebones VPS which works well with my preferred setup of Centminmod. The value (in terms of RAM, storage, vcpus for the dollar) is exceptional, and they've delivered a hosting platform which has drawn me away from Linode, simply because I can get more for my money. SSDNodes doesn't have any backups/images on offer. Additionally, while the stats are great (vcpus, memory, storage, bandwidth), you have to prepay for 3 years, and it's not necessarily the top of the line hardware unless you go with their slightly more expensive performance packages.
